During the month of November each year, Movember asks men across the world to grow a moustache with the aim of raising vital funds and awareness for men’s health issues. Movember moustaches were first grown in Australia back in 2003 and sin ce that time word of Movember and its men’s health messages have spread across the globe.
In addition, Movember is aware of supportive Mo Bros and Mo Sistas dotted around the world; all of whom have played an important role in growing Movember into what it is today.
A group of men, here in Lebanon will start growing their mustaches in support of the cause. You can follow their progress on:
The official Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/movemberlebanon
Twitter @MovemberLebanon
And their individual MoBro spaces on http://www.movember.com
This the first time a Movember initiative is being started in the Middle East region, to raise awareness to Prostate Cancer. You cooperation and interaction is highly appreciated.
Needless to say, media coverage is a critical part in any awareness campaign, and I’m hoping you will find our cause worthy of your much appreciated coverage, on your blog, twitter and Facebook accounts. You are more than welcomed to even join us!
Hope to hear from you soon!
Yours,
Fadi Dalati, MD
